Cosmetic Texture Photography for Luxury Beauty Brands

Working as a commercial beauty photographer in London, I’ve become known for my clean, minimal aesthetic that highlights authentic skin, real textures, and modern product storytelling. My style continues to resonate with both emerging beauty start-ups and established beauty brands looking for elevated, honest imagery.

While I’ll always love a white-background, minimal beauty look (millennial classic, right?), my recent test shoot took things in a new direction. By moving ultra close-up on the subject, I captured the soft applicator bristles gripping onto juicy, high-shine lip gloss. The contrast between fuzzy texture and liquid gloss creates an unexpectedly tactile, sensory beauty moment — a fresh, modern take on macro beauty photography.

Paired with a steel grey and vibrant pink colour palette, this shot has become one of my favourite images of the year.
