Cosmetic Texture Photography

As a graduated Biochemist, I love the possibilities to 'look up close' at my subjects - may it be the intricate art of make-up artists or textures of liquids and beauty products.

The following images were created in my studio in Kentish Town, London and a close observation of styling and composition of bubbles. Lighting it appropriately to emphasise the textures and characteristics was an important part of this shoot.
